Artist's Description
Dancing Tree-Altered by Paula Guttilla
I have always been drawn to nature, especially trees. My body of work is taken from
the natural world.
I was inspired to create “Dancing Tree -Altered “ after photographing at dawn a
beautifully silhouetted tree
submerged along the shore of Table Rock Lake near Branson, MO.
There was fog lingering above the water with a pink and blue pastel light in the sky.
It was magical. The reflection of the tree in the water made it appear to be dancing.
When I returned home I came up with the idea of transforming the photo into a more
intense spiritual tree,
communicating an idea, a vision, a concept, even a feeling to be interpreted by the
observer.
